Collector's Notes
The impressed 1996 Hill Design mark identifies both the maker and the Noel Gift Tags design. Brown Bag molds were produced as practical craft and kitchen pieces rather than plain wall plaques.
The four separate holiday pictures suit a collector of Brown Bag stoneware, a Christmas baker, or someone who enjoys traditional handmade gift wrapping projects.
This example keeps all four reliefs crisp enough to show the rocking horse, angel, Santa, and teddy bear without heavy residue filling the fine lines.
It can return to project use or hang quietly in a holiday kitchen between Christmas seasons.
